"Just
wanted to tell you that I saw your show Wednesday night with the
“Superstars” & how much I enjoyed your performance. It was a real
treat for me, because it was the first time I’ve seen you dance with your
snake! I loved your music & choreography – & your projected
silhouette was awesome! I was very impressed with the show on the whole."

This
is a picture of a Columbian red-tailed boa. My boa as of January
2004 is
about 5 feet long, he eats one large rat every two
weeks. |
I
have also taken my snakes up to my children's school classroom to show them the snake
and talk a little about the history of dancing with them. The kids make a
great audience. They are completely interested in learning about the
snake. Most of them take a turn petting him. My snakes are so used to
being handled that he is very comfortable with the children. Snakes make wonderful
pets, but they are not for everyone. You do have to feed them live prey, some people buy frozen, dead mice
or rats and feed them. Some people feed their snakes freshly
killed. I personally, cannot kill a rat, so I feed my snake
live.
See my links page for some
wonderful snake sites for you to read and learn a little more about this
beautiful creature.
A snake quote:
"The snake is an animal... It has a backbone and heart. It has red blood and drinks water and eats food. It breathes air and feels fear, just like every other animal in the world...
And it's in a body that is the hardest thing for the average person to understand."

This is a
picture of Buto, the Egyptian snake goddess. She was a cobra goddess
whose
cult-center was in the Delta of the Nile. She was also called the
"Lady of Heaven" and
the Queen of all the gods. To learn

I
recommend the magazine REPTILES, for all you reptile and amphibian lovers
out there.
In the September 2000 issue is an article entitled
SEARCHING FOR THE NILE MONITOR
IN THE LAND OF THE PHARAOHS which has some great
pictures of Egypt. I recommend
this high-quality magazine if you are
interested in keeping and caring for your snakes or
other reptiles &
amphibians. You can e-mail them for
ordering info. Don't forget to include REPTILES in the subject line.
